Exact Rule

  • Signal source is the Bitcoin halving date, with fixed pre-halving and post-halving day counts.
  • Buy / hold BTC from 500 days before the halving date through day 540 after the halving date, inclusive.
  • Hold Cash before the pre-halving buy date and after the day-540 sell date.
  • Inside the calendar cycle window, the MA120 2-up/2-down defensive gate controls whether the cycle allocation is 100% BTC or cash.
  • Outside the calendar cycle window, the confirmed 50-week SMA signal and daily SMA50/SMA200 golden cross remain early-entry overlays only.

Guardrails

  • No QQQ, QLD, SPY, SSO, TQQQ, MACD, EMA crossover, or DCA rules are part of the BTC holding-window signal.
  • The weekly 50-week SMA signal changes only after a completed Sunday weekly close can be used on Monday UTC.
  • The MA120 defensive gate requires two consecutive daily closes above MA120 to confirm risk-on, and two consecutive daily closes below MA120 to confirm defensive cash.
  • Bottom-zone context can help describe the cycle, but it is not an automatic buy signal.
  • This is a rules-based tracking dashboard and is not financial advice.
